Watsons ‘water harvesting’ tanks, tank systems can grow into ‘a new generation’

The company says the water harvesting system is able to process up to 400 million litres of water every day.

Watson said its water harvesting tank, for example, can produce up to 1,100 litres of pure water per week, which can then be used to irrigate plants and produce a variety of food and drink items.

“Watsonia is able take on a water harvesting role and be a significant water supply provider to its customers,” the company said.

“The technology and infrastructure to be able to deliver water to our customers is not new, but Watsonia has taken on a different approach to the industry and its users, and the results have been amazing.”

Watsona’s new technology is the result of a collaboration between Watsona, the Australian Water Industry Association (AWIA), the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and a number of industry partners.

The ARENA is one of Australia’s largest water regulators, with the authority to regulate the supply of water to the state’s electricity network.

In a statement, ARENA chairman David Rattenbury said Watsonics technology was a “significant step forward in the water supply sector”.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Watsones innovative technology to create the largest water harvesting systems in the world,” Mr Rattenfield said.

“This innovative and innovative solution will ensure the sustainability of Australias water supply.”

The company said it would be looking to expand the technology, and had a number other projects in the pipeline.

“We have a range of water harvesting and water production projects that we are working on that will help us meet the challenges of Australia,” the Watsos website said.
